Just read someone trying to argue that racehorses love racing, hence why if they throw their jockey they carry on with the other horses until the end of the race.
Erm, what? Horses are pack animals you divvy. Of course a horse without a rider will carry on with the others, especially if you consider the environment. Crowds and unfamiliar land are daunting for some horses.
If i was out with Cassie alone and she threw me off, I guarantee that she’d wait close by. If there were other horses near by then she would make a beline for them. You don’t have to know horses to get your head around that one. Some thoroughbreds might be bred for racing but that doesn’t breed out the flight instinct of a horse.
I hate today. I hate all horse racing but the Grand National and other more popular racing festivals make me realise how dumb people are. It’s all fair weather gamblers, inebriated idiots and greedy owners. Arghh!!

I’m sorry that I was your first love. You deserved someone who would have at least liked you back.
